The Lord My Deliverer

August 13, 2026 

"I love you, O LORD... my deliverer."  Psalm 18:2

You and I have two enemies: sin and Satan. Sin is the enemy within, and Satan is the enemy without. Jesus is the one who defeats both enemies.

Jesus' answer for the enemy of sin is forgiveness, and Jesus' answer for Satan is deliverance. 

Two vicious enemies. One answer--Jesus. But his answer is categorically different. For sin you need Christ the Forgiver. For Satan you need Christ the Deliverer. 

You may have received Christ your Forgiver, but have you received Christ your Deliverer?

There are many Christians who know the forgiveness of Christ for their sins, but have never experienced the deliverance of Christ from demonic strongholds.

Have you received the deliverance of Jesus from demonic strongholds? 

Take Christ today as your Deliverer. 

Yes, Lord Jesus, I confess that I need your deliverance from demonic strongholds. I take you now as my Deliverer. I bring to your light the darkness of hidden, evil secrets. Set me free now from all demonic bondage. I am an overcomer in Jesus' name.
