Trust the Name

January 31, 2026 

"Those who know your name put their trust in you." Psalm 9:10

When you know the Name, you trust the Name.

Don't waste a single encounter with the Name. Every encounter with the Name will grow your faith.

David's life was marked by encounters with the Name. In various situations, from adolescence through adulthood, David consistently encountered the Name. Every encounter was strategic and faith-building. These encounters with the Name were the high points in David's story. Every facet of the Name took David's life from the common to the extraordinary. 

God wants to consistently lead you to encounter his Name as well. In the daily moments of your life, God has a Name of self-disclosure he wants to reveal to you in order to build your faith. This is the key to a healthy walk with God. 

What Name is God revealing to you today?

Trust is at the heart of every healthy relationship. Your relationship with Christ is no exception.

Nothing builds your trust in God faster and more permanently than the revelation of his Name. 

When you know the Name, you trust the Name. What facet of the Name is God inviting you to trust today?

Father God, I put my trust today in your Name.
