The Lord My Rock

August 11, 2026 

"The LORD is my rock."  Psalm 18:2

You need a rock. A source of stability. Strength. Security. 

It is a defining moment when you encounter Christ as your Rock. Your life will never be the same.

David lived in a land of rocks, mountains and caves. Some rocks protected him, and some even saved his life. 

When he encountered Christ the Rock, he gained an entirely new dimension of courage and confidence. All fear was gone. From that moment, he boldly claimed Christ as my Rock. 

Fear comes from what can be taken from you.  When you take Christ as your Rock, you too will be free from fear, knowing that Christ cannot be taken from you.

Christ invites you to take him today as my Rock.

Jesus, you alone are my Rock. You are my source of stability, strength and security. Deliver me now from all my fears.
