The Lord My Banner

August 26, 2026 

"Moses built an altar and called the name of it, The LORD Is My Banner." Exodus 17:15

Banner is a distinct, yet thoroughly appropriate name of God.

A banner is a flag or a pole erected in a place of prominence as a proud symbol of identity, a rallying point for assembly, and a declaration of divine victory. Rather than simply a decorative cloth, a banner is a powerful declaration of whose authority and protection a group stands under.

To declare, the Lord is my Banner, you are boldly and publicly declaring your allegiance to Christ. He is your identity, your rally point, the authority under which you take your stand.

Would you boldly raise Christ, your Banner today? 

Yes, Lord Jesus, I loudly declare, that you are my Banner. I lift your name high in my life, my home, my workplace, and among the nations.
