Potent Name

“In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” Acts 3:6

God wants to help you discover the potency of the Name.

When Peter stared at an impossible situation—a paraplegic sitting on his straw mat—he knew that while he could do nothing, this was an opportunity for the Name.

There was only one Name that could change the chronic immobility of this young man, and in an instant, the Name changed everything. Peter looked into the face of this young man, and declared, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk! 

Notice Peter declared the Name. The Name did the supernatural. In an instant, his damaged body was healed. His life was forever changed by the Name guarantees 

“And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God” (Acts 3:8.)

As you stare at the impossibility of your life circumstances, take hold of the Name. Declare the potency of the Name. Watch heaven come to earth and do the supernatural.

From the following list, select one area in your life that seems to be impossible.

       Physical illness          Financial shortfall

       Unsaved loved one        Prodigal child

       Chronic depression        Addiction

       Broken friendship       Family crisis

Now declare the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth over your impossibility.

Father God, I declare the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth over… [name your situation]. Come now and work a miracle by your Name.
