"You have said, ‘My name shall be there,’ that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place.'" 1 Kings 8:29
You can worship without music, but you cannot worship without the name.
When Solomon set his heart to build God a place of worship, what drove him was God's promise, My name shall be there. Almost 20 times Solomon said he was building a place for God's name. The temple was a house of worship because it was a house for the name.
Have you built a house of worship? You don't need a great voice or musical skill. All you need is the name.
More importantly, has God put his name on your place of daily worship--on your prayer life?
When your prayer life becomes more about what God does when you pray than what you do when you pray, your prayer life has become a place for his name.
Loving Father, I devote my daily prayer time to your name. I take your name. I exalt the name of the Lord Jesus Christ over my house of prayer.
