Mighty God

“His name shall be called… Mighty God.” Isaiah 9:6

We love the intimate names of God like Friend, Shepherd, Immanuel, God with us. These names are comforting and endearing. In our love for God's intimacy, you don't want to miss his transcendence. 

The lofty, mighty, and transcendent Name of God is equally significant. When you face obstacles that are bigger than you are, you need the Name that is bigger than they are, the name Mighty God.

As you face insurmountable challenges today, grab hold of Mighty God.

When you’re not able, God is.

When you have no answers, God does.

When your strength is depleted, God’s isn’t.

When you need help, God is on your side. And his Name is Mighty God. 

God never gives his Name as information; He gives it to lead you to an encounter with him for the sake of transformation. 

Encounter him now as Mighty God and be transformed.

Father God, Mighty God, I need you now. [Right now tell God your challenges.] Over my weakness I declare you to be Mighty God.
