We celebrate the establishment of the College of Prayer in a new country. On May 10-12 the College of Prayer was launched in Lusaka, Zambia. There were 25 Zambian pastors and church leaders present. Rev. Theo Burakeye, Regional Director for Southern Africa, and David Cheeks led and facilitated this launch. The Zambian leadership responded wholeheartedly to the manifest presence of Christ and to the vision of the College of Prayer. Those present found new freedom in Christ as they were loosed from spiritual strongholds. Twelve leaders committed to start Campuses across the region. The first of these is already scheduled to begin on May 22. Already, 50 people are registered to attend this new Campus.
We rejoice in the entry of the College of Prayer into this nation and we anticipate deeper roots leading to plentiful fruit. Thanks be to God!
