    Revival In Peru

    11/24/2017

In November, Latin America Regional Director, Rev. Luis Calderon, headed to Peru to continue mentoring, training, and equipping church leaders at our Campuses in Lima and Trujillo.

In Trujillo, the small church that holds about 160 comfortably was packed on the first night and more and more showed up every night, reaching beyond 300 people. The first night, every single person came forward to the altar, bowed and prostrated themselves in the Presence of the Lord, and stayed there for quite a while. This was the environment every night. These people are hungry and want more of God! The last night of the Module there were so many people crammed into the church that they were literally overflowing into the street. At the end of the evening, Luis called the young people to the front. Between 75-100 young people came forward. God moved on them in such a way that every one of them wept before the Lord. Visions were seen of other lands and assignments were given to go to those lands.

We found out that since the College of Prayer launched in Trujillo in April 2017, people in the church are gathering at 6 AM for an hour of prayer! Not a day passes without beginning the day in an hour of prayer at this church. They now have to hold 5 services on Sundays, as there are over a 1,000 people wanting to come to church there. They are looking to plant another church because of the overflow.

    Update On Cuba

    11/21/2017

The following report is from Rev. Fred Hartley, III, President of College of Prayer International.
As I sat with 200 Cuban pastors in the capital city of Havana and listened to testimony after testimony of the dramatic impact the College of Prayer has had in this communist nation, I bowed my head in profound gratitude to Christ and said once again, "Lord Jesus, if the College of Prayer was born just for Cuba, it all would have been worthwhile! Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever!"
"We have now started 74 different Prayer Centers, or Campuses, of the College of Prayer. Each of these Prayer Centers are experiencing a dramatic transformation. God is sending revival to Cuba." ~ Cuban Pastor
"When I introduced my people to the seven rooms in the House of Prayer, they were overwhelmed. They had never heard anything like this. As I led them in prayer into each of the seven rooms, many were literally knocked on the floor in the presence of God’s holiness. We encountered Christ in each of the seven rooms." ~ Cuban Pastor
"In the central area of Cuba there has been a stronghold of witchcraft. Since we have introduced the College of Prayer we have seen many repent and come to Christ. It is as if God is breaking the power of the enemy and pushing back the darkness in our region. Praise the Lord." ~ Cuban Pastor
I want to call us to strategic prayer for Cuba in several specific ways, as follows:
    1. Ask God to give us favor with the Directors (Bishops, Presidents, Coordinators) of each of the major denominations. Only this weekend did I realize that we are working primarily with Lieutenants rather than Generals. As grateful as we are for the Lieutenants, until we get favor with the Generals we will not be able to thoroughly impact the church.
    2. Ask God to give us funding for publications. Cuba is bankrupt. These dear people are distributing dog-eared photocopies of our curriculum, and that is not acceptable. We need to help the precious church in Cuba to provide them with funds so that the first generation of the College of Prayer will have a solid foundation of the same kind of printed materials we use everywhere else around the world. They are hungry and they are desperate, but they need our financial help.
    3. We need to build a broader College of Prayer Leadership Team in Cuba to train more groups across the island. We are receiving more and more invitations from individual denominations to train all their leaders. We want to be able to rise to these demands, but we need help. Pray the Lord of the Harvest to thrust forth laborers into the harvest field as we seek God for a strategy to find these workers who will go and do the training in 2018.
Thank you for praying. Thank you for sharing these specific prayer targets with each of your intercessors. Christ will prevail!

College of Prayer Goes to Jail

    11/14/2017

Last week the College of Prayer went to prison! Specifically, to Georgia Diagnostic & Classification State Prison in Jackson, GA to hold a Prayer on Fire Gathering. We not only felt the favor of God, we felt the pleasure of God! It was awesome. We thank God for Eric Dewayne, who opened this door, and his leadership anointing. He genuinely loves the inmates and it was obvious that God has given him favor and authority. It is truly an honor to team up with him and his significant ministry and calling. The prison Chaplain, Mr. Miller, is also a great man who walks in authority.

Despite the many changes to our schedule, we were able to serve one group of 101 inmates for an hour and forty minutes. We were able to lead them in high worship, deep repentance, receiving forgiveness, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to be empowered for ministry. Praise the Lord. It was a prototype Upper Room encounter with Christ. Rev. Donn Thomas taught on breaking the orphan spirit and healing the father wound and Fred Hartley, III taught on the Lord’s Prayer Pattern. There was a unanimous sense of God’s hand on the gathering.

The second group was smaller—probably 45 inmates whom we were able to minister to for 75 minutes. Donn again shared on the father wound and God’s grace in putting us "in family." We stayed on that track the entire session. We ended with healing prayer stations where every inmate who wanted it came up for personal prayers of blessing.

It was a good beginning. We look forward to teaming up with Eric Dewayne again to see where this goes, as God opens doors. Because this is a Diagnostic Prison, 90% of the inmates (2,350 total) come and go every 6 weeks. This means the potential of the College of Prayer going from this prison to other prisons throughout the state is higher than at any other prison. Pray with us as we seek God for His strategy to serve the prison system.

    Major Growth in Ethiopia

    11/10/2017

In January 2017 the College of Prayer International began an official partnership with the Ethiopian Kale Heywat Church (EKHC), the largest Evangelical denomination in Ethiopia. EKHC has over 9,000 churches and 9,000,000+ members. Throughout 2017, College of Prayer Campuses, called Prayer Centers in Ethiopia, have launched all across the country. There are now over 5,000 Prayer Centers utilizing the College of Prayer curriculum and mentoring, training, and equipping thousands of church leaders. One of our primary leaders in Ethiopia overseeing our work there recently wrote us:
"God bless College of Prayer for the vision given that has helped us to transform our individual life. We are grateful for the materials, the teams who have visited, and enabling us to go forward into next steps...The [College of Prayer has] empowered participants to preach the good news of Jesus Christ around them ... In the coming four years, if God helps us, we plan to see this doubled in all EKHC areas, and influence beyond EKHC in other Evangelical churches."
