Global Day of Prayer
Following the example of the first believers who "joined together constantly" in prayer (Acts 1:14) until the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the Global Day of Prayer is calling Christians from all nations to unite in prayer. A simple threefold strategy will be implemented each year until 2010 and beyond: 1) 10 Days of day-and-night prayer from Ascension day until the Saturday before Pentecost Sunday; 2) A Global Day of Prayer on Pentecost Sunday; 3) 90 Days of Blessing.
