2012 African Summit
The first African Summit, held in 2009, was an overwhelming success. Our mission was to train church leaders to establish campuses of the College of Prayer in their countries all over Africa. God moved mightily as we met in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire with 106 leaders from 15 different nations. When we met that year, there were only 18 campuses in Africa ... today we have 52!
Why should you attend the 2012 African Summit?
Our mission is to build African leaders who will establish strong College of Prayer campuses in many new African countries, including Sudan, Egypt and other limited access and currently undeveloped countries. This is a deep and profound ministry to high level leaders in strategic countries with significant influence whom we are serving and we are confident God will provide.- You will be led to a fresh encounter with God.
- You will learn to walk in kingdom authority … and how to receive big answers to prayer.
- You will learn how to build upper room prayer environments that will attract the presence of God to your life and your ministry.
- You will learn to build a life-giving corporate prayer meeting.
What should you expect?
Learning takes place best in a worship-based prayer environment. For this reason, we always include three essential elements.- Prayer and Worship — We encounter God.
- Instruction — We receive life-giving biblical teaching.
- Interaction — We discuss truth with each other.

We are asking those who are part of the ministry team to arrive Saturday evening, August 4 and depart Sunday evening, August 12. This will give a window of time to overcome any jet-lag, some sightseeing and speaking in churches. The cost will be roughly $3,250 which includes airfare from JFK and most in-country expenses including limited excursions. We also ask that you prayerfully and creatively consider how you might be able to help raise an additional $2,000-$3,000 to help support the 2012 African Summit. This money will be used to fund African leaders who would not otherwise be able to attend.
In the near future we will get you information about how to get visas, plane tickets, etc. as well as information about the country of Burkina Faso. If you want a head-start, information on the country of Burkina Faso can be found by clicking here.
Please email or call Bill Trinidad, Administrative Regional Director of the College of Prayer International, with any questions. He can be reached at billtrinidad @ collegeofprayer.org or by calling 607-237-1038.
