The Regional Directors for the College of Prayer International are responsible for opening up new territory and campuses around the world. They coordinate with campus President's and report directly to the President of the College of Prayer International, Rev. Fred Hartley, III.

Steve Scarrow

Rev. Steve Scarrow

Latin America

Born in Lima, Peru to a Canadian father and an American mother, Steve spent his first 18 years living in three different cities in Peru while attending boarding school in Quito, Ecuador. Steve attended Toccoa Falls College in Georgia graduating with a B.A. in Theology. He married Andrea Norman and they have a son, Stephen John. Steve completed further studies in Canada receiving an M.A. in Missiology. Steve and his family lived for 11 years in Mexico where they planted a church, developed church leaders, and organized Marriage Encounters in Guadalajara, Mexico City and Tijuana.

Steve has lived in 5 countries and 15 different cities and now resides with his family in Moultrie, Georgia, where he pastors both English and Spanish speaking congregations.

Joel Kangas

Rev. Joel Kangas

North America

Joel Kangas is the Regional Director for North America as well as pastor of Piedmont Park Alliance Church in Tallahassee, FL. He has also served as President of the College of Prayer campus in the Great Lakes region and helped launch campuses in Kinshasa, Brazzaville and Point Noir in central Africa. Before going into full-time ministry, Joel taught Jr. High science. He attended the Lutheran Bible Institute, North Dakota State University, and earned a Master of Divinity from the Alliance Theological Seminary.

Joel has also served on two church staff teams in Minnesota and New York and as lead pastor of Cornerstone Church in Ohio for 13 years. His wife, Lisa, is his full-time ministry partner. They have four children; Aaron (20), Nicole(18), Megan(13) and Jadon (7).

Bill Trinidad

Africa

Bill grew up in the suburbs of New York City. During his last year of high school, he began a relationship with Christ. While studying Biology at Cornell University he was discipled by a campus ministry, and later joined their staff for four years. Three of those years were spent teaching high school science in Swaziland. Upon his return to the US in 1980, he attended Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS), graduating with an M.Div. in 1983. During his time at ATS he met his wife, Coral, and they served together at Greenfield Alliance Church, in Greenfield, MA. In 1987 they left for language study in France, and went on to serve as missionaries in Mali, West Africa from 1988-2000. He served as a pastor in upstate New York from 2003-2011. Bill, Coral and their children reside in Candor, NY.
