About the Management Team

The Management Team for the College of Prayer International (COP) makes it possible to continue siezing all of the opportunities that the ministry faces. There are three primary teams that function: provision, pioneering, and prayer. Each member of the Management Team oversees a number of volunteers and reports directly to the President of the COP, Fred Hartley, III.

	Sherry Hartley Director of Prayer Sherry Hartley and her husband Fred live in metro-Atlanta. She is the mother of four and the young-looking grandmother of five. She grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated from Wheaton College with a BA in Elementary Education. She has been part of the College of Prayer since it began in 1993. Playing ALTA tennis, leading a women's Bible study, and practicing hospitality are just a few of the things Sherry enjoys. Utilizing her gifts of service she keeps our team of intercessors informed about COP modules being facilitated around the world. We are privileged to have her serve as our Director of Prayer, which includes leading intercessors in prayer for the protection, fullness and blessing of the ministry.
	Jon Mitchell Director of Communication Jon Mitchell lives in Trussville, AL with his wife Karen, where they are involved in ministering in both the church and the workplace. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA in Marketing. Jon serves both the Georgia Campus and the COP International. As Director of Communication, Jon is responsible for print, email and online communication. He also oversees registration and relationship management systems.
	John Griggs Director of Provision Our Director of Provision, John Griggs, lives in Lilburn, GA and attends Lilburn Alliance Church. He retired as Director of Sales and Marketing from the Thermo Materials Division of Ceradyne Inc. in mid-2006. Immediately following his retirement, John joined Revival Prayer Institute where he employs his organizational skills as an assistant to the President and Board of Directors. John brings his corporate experience including team building, policy and procedural interpretation, as well as many of the organizational concepts required as the COP continues to grow so rapidly.
	Bruce Bliss Director of Quality Assurance Bruce Bliss, our Director of Quality Assurance, is the Pastor of Evangelism and Discipleship at Lilburn Alliance Church. Bruce is the son of missionary parents who served in Indonesia which helped him develop a heart for all peoples. He is a graduate of Houghton College and has a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Bruce has been active in the Christian & Missionary Alliance prayer movement and served for three years as Dean of the Georgia Campus of the College of Prayer.
	Stephen Hartley Assistant to the President Stephen Hartley graduated from Wheaton College in 2009 and majored in Communications. He developed leadership skills while at Wheaton working as Intramural Coordinator, Orientation Committee and Prayer Coordinator for the college. He also met the love of his life at Wheaton, Emily, and married her on August 30, 2009. Stephen has a passion for prayer and is excited to share this passion with others through the College of Prayer.
