New Executive Director

Atlanta, GA June 13, 2011: The Board of Directors is excited to announce that Jon Mitchell will become the Executive Director of the College of Prayer International on July 1, 2011. He and his wife, Karen, and daughter Ansley will move to Atlanta, GA to join our team full-time.

Jon is a graduate of Toccoa Falls College where he earned his B.S. in Business Administration and LeTourneau University where he received his MBA. His professional experience has included overseeing the Marketing and Operations for a publishing company in Birmingham, AL as well as work in Information Technology for a local pediatric hospital.

Jon became involved with the Georgia Campus of the College of Prayer ten years ago and has served in a volunteer capacity on the International Leadership Team as Director of Communication since January 2008. He has traveled to several countries throughout the world, giving him a broad perspective of cultures and ministry.

His education, experience in the business world and longevity with our ministry position him well to take the College of Prayer International to the next level. We are committed to effectively steward all God has entrusted to us with excellence. Jon Mitchell is a gift from God at just the right time to help us manage and administrate our growing international ministry.
