College of Prayer President Fred Hartley along with John Leatch and Don Young just returned from Cote d'Ivoire where they established a COP campus at the only fully accredited theological seminary in all West Africa near Abidjan. Fred described it as an Upper Room with students who were unusually hungry for God. The students at the seminary are from 14 different countries and receive great teaching and theology at the seminary, but this week all their learning was set on fire! The dean, Isaac Kieta said words could not express his appreciation for all God did this week, that he saw answers to prayer he had never thought possible. Praise God for the impact this will have on the church throughout Africa as these students become pastors and leaders of churches in the future.
"The College of Prayer was a very interactive participatory time. The leaders didn't just teach about prayer, they had the faculty and students actually praying." - Deanna (and Randy) Harrison, Missionaries in Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa
Thank you for your prayers for each of these strategic Colleges of Prayer. It is because of much prayer that God is continuing to manifest his presence as the COP meets in various places throughout the world.
