Jack Stimmel, President of COP Wisconsin, led the latest module in Mongolia with the theme of "Lord, As Husbands and Wives, Teach Us to Pray". This is his report:

There were around 45 Mongolians in attendance in addition to our team and four missionaries. We also discovered at the outset that all present had virtually no Christian heritage. When asked how many came from homes where someone in their family or extended family was Christian, none raised their hands. We were all humbled by the incredible responsibility before us to lay an important biblical foundation on the subject of prayer for a very young church in a country completely new to Christianity.

One gentleman even approached us just before lunch to talk. He said he had never been to church in his life. He had come with a completely closed heart, but after being there for the three days, he said his heart was completely open to Jesus. He had had a major problem with alcohol and had caused his wife a great deal of pain. When he came to us, he mentioned that no one had sent him to talk and that his wife didn't even know he was doing this. He was asked if he was willing to repent of his alcohol usage immediately. He said he was. He was asked when he thought would be the best time to place his full trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sin. He said, "Right now". One of the key Mongolian Christian men then shared the plan of salvation with him and led him in a prayer to receive Christ as Savior and Lord. His wife wept uncontrollably as her husband gave witness to his new found faith in Christ.
