Ugandan President Calls for Nation-Wide Fast
Bishop Julius Oyet, President of the College of Prayer Uganda, appealed to the President of Uganda to call for a nation-wide Ninevah-type fast (see Jonah 3:6-10.) They met with the President of Uganda May 30; the President in turn called for the nation-wide fast. Praise the Lord for this outward expression of humility, repentance and seeking God.

New Campus in Ghana
In July Dr. Fred Hartley, President of the College of Prayer International, and Celestin Koffi, President of the College Of Prayer Côte d'Ivoire, led a team to Ghana to plant a new campus of the CoP. The conference was held at the Korkdam Hotel Conference Hall in New Atchimota, Accra.

School of Prayer @ Stavanger University
Reid Nygaard, President of the College of Prayer Norway, reports that the Student Chaplain and the Christian Union at the University of Stavanger, a secular international university, will teach Encounter, the student version of the School of Prayer as part of their course offering next semester.

Future Campuses
A new CoP campus in Wheaton, Illinois is expected to launch in October. The first module will be held Friday and Saturday, October 1-2. For more information contact Jonathan Gulley at (630) 379-8640.

The CoP in China is due to launch as early as this October. Please pray for Don Young and the other leaders on the ground in Beijing who are negotiating the specifics for this campus.

Arrangements are now being made to launch the first College of Prayer campus in the Middle East this November. The Church in this country is desperate to see God come. Pray for the translation of materials, the assembling of the team, and for God to prepare the church in the Middle East for a mighty outpouring of His Holy Spirit.

New Regional Director for Europe - College of Prayer

Pete and his wife, Ellen, live with their children in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania. Pete is a business owner of a painting company. He has previously served as a pastor and denominational leader, and has a highly relational gift mix. God's call is on Pete to disciple the nations. He has a great passion for leading God's people into His manifest presence. Pete will oversee six current campuses and seven developing campuses in Europe and the Middle East. Pray for him as he sets his hand to the plow in this fertile region.

Cote d'Ivoire & Ghana | July 21-27 - College of Prayer

Pray for the team that will be going to Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana in July. The team will include Fred Hartley, Stephen and Emily Hartley, Jim and Jennifer Ammerman and Daniel Peters. They will be doing three things:
  1. Leading a College of Prayer at FATEAC Theological Seminary teaching the Year 2 curriculum.
  2. Planting an interdenominational College of Prayer in the capital city of Abidjan with Southern Baptists, Assemblies of God, and a host of other different Protestant churches.
  3. They will be traveling to Ghana, West Africa, to plant an interdenominational campus of the College of Prayer.
